WOMEN’S AMBULATORY HEALTH APPRENTICESHIP

The training and knowledge needed to provide excellent care to women is broad and unique. It’s essential that nurses are confident and competent in these skills in order to provide the care that women deserve, regardless of their stage in life. That’s why we created the Women’s Ambulatory Services Program. This program combines the training of our RN Apprenticeship Program with additional training for women’s health. In addition, nurses will receive the national certifications needed to deliver this care.

The program combines on the job training with virtual learning using our learning management system. Nurses can access the curriculum from any computer at any time of day. This flexibility makes achieving this specialized training realistic for adult learners. Our program features:

  • Online Learning Modules

  • Virtual Simulation

  • Competency Validation

  • Bedside Skill Sign-Off

  • Email Coaching

  • Cohort Conferences

  • Journaling

  • Tracking, Trending and Feedback

  • Clinical Leadership / Quality Improvement Project
